Red numbers on the car - what could that mean?
We are all used to seeing white license plates oncars, however at a kind red some car owners fall into perplexity. What is this number? What does it mean? Is it not a deputy, hour, behind the wheel? Today we will devote a separate article to this topic and find out what red numbers are used for on machines.
Just note that the red color of the registrationThe sign may differ significantly for its intended purpose, depending on the country in which this car is registered. As for Russia, the red numbers on the car here refer to diplomatic cars. And on each of them white letters are marked with the designation: "CC", "CD" and so on. Let's consider each of them.
- The red numbers on the car with the designation "CC" indicate that the vehicle is registered with an ambassador or a person equal in status to it.
- Registration marks with the symbols "CD" say that the car was registered to the consul or a person who performs his functions.
- Numbers with the letter "D" (diplomat) mean that the owner of the car is an employee of an international organization. Either it can be an employee of an institution that has diplomatic status.
- The red number on the car with the designation "T" indicates that this car is registered to an employee of an international institution or an organization that does not have diplomatic status.
In fraternal Ukraine the same license platesred color has nothing to do with diplomats. With these numbers, millions of car owners who only bought or cleared their car drive. The fact is that the red numbers on the machine with the Ukrainian registration are temporary, that is, transit. And it is unlikely that the consul or an employee of an international organization will sit behind the wheel. By the way, they are made of plastic, as a rule, not very resistant and vulnerable to damage.
Registration numbers, painted inred color, as well as in Russia, are diplomatic. However, even such signs are put on cars that are on the balance of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.
Here, too, everything is not so simple. For example, in Denmark red numbers are used for airport transport. In Spain and Bulgaria with such registration marks diplomatic officials travel, and in Latvia the red number has not a white inscription, as in all European countries, but a black one. And such signs also refer to diplomatic ones. In neighboring Lithuania red numbers on the machine say the same as in Ukraine. This is a transit registration plates that are used on the car for no more than 1-2 weeks, until a permanent white number is handed to the car owner in the GAI. An interesting situation in Belgium. Ordinary citizens travel here with red numbers, however, this color is used only as an inscription. All letters are on a white background. In Hungary, it could mean that this car belongs to slow transport, to which special traffic rules apply.
