The principle of progressiveness obliges the personnel manager to actively apply progressive principles and methods of personnel management in his work. The principle of autonomy gives this service the authority to make decisions within the framework of its immediate activities, without resorting each time to a higher-level authority. The principle of perspective allows the management of the HR department to plan its activities taking into account the development prospects of the organization as a whole. The principle of efficiency - decisions must be made within a strictly defined time frame. But more often there is a classification, when three main types of personnel management methods are distinguished: administrative, economic and socio-psychological.

These methods are based on two methods of influence: organizational and managerial, that is, the organization of the production process and all sorts of orders and orders of management.

Economic methods are directly related totechnical and economic planning. After the approval of plans for economic development, they are led to line managers, and those are further along the chain. To implement the plans, managers can use various instructions and apply any form of work. These methods are very in demand in the modern world, because they allow you to predict the activities of the organization.

Socio-psychological methods are based on the application of the laws of sociology and psychology. The personality of the employee, his emotions and character, the ways of interaction within the team are put first.
