To which the applicant replied: "Do not you see the green there? In that case, I'm sorry for you! "The professor's reaction was quite predictable. But this incident brought benefit to the young creator, he was noticed by Dmitry Kardovsky and offered to attend lectures on a free basis, without enrolling and issuing a diploma.
Young talent continues to improve, inIn 1910, he was waiting for a new Higher Educational Institution in France - the Academy of Arts La Palette. "Jack of Diamonds"
In 1908, the artist decides to moveto Moscow. In the capital, together with Mikhail Larionov and David Burliuk, he is working on organizing the exhibition "The Knave of Diamonds", which featured works of art of a new genre. The creators made an open protest against the realistic images of that time. Even the name sounded unusual. Larionov himself claimed: "Too many pretentious names ... as a protest we decided, the worse, the better ... what could be more absurd than the" Jack of Diamonds "?" In fortune tellers, this card symbolized youth and beauty, while convicts, on the contrary, were ephemeral. Such a dual designation they decided to give to their event. This was the first show of paintings of the new generation.
The artists touched the attention of the public, visitors were more than two hundred people. This breathed life not just into an exhibition, but into a full-fledged artistic organization. In the future, it will be joined by Malevich, and Kandinsky, and Goncharova.
It was a whole community with its charter, goals and objectives. They delivered various reports and presentations, they tried to educate the modern public about art.
For bubnovaletsev still life has become a favorite genre, and the tray - one of the main distinctive items in the picture.
Some representatives of this current could write several completed paintings in a week. This is due to the fact that they neglected the proportions and perspective, which greatly accelerated the work process.
There were exhibited paintings not only of Russian contemporaries, but also avant-garde works of foreign colleagues. Such events were very popular.
The society lasted for six years and disintegrated intocommunication with the disagreements of participants. Its continuation is the organization "Moscow painters", where, of course, Aristarch Vassilyevich entered in due time.

Upon arrival from Paris, Lentulov had even morethe art of painting is perfected. He writes freely, simply, provocatively. Of course, one can see the similarity with his foreign friends. In 1912, the painting "Allegory of War" was painted. One of the students, looking at this work, said: "I will voluntarily sit in prison for 2 weeks, if the author explains what is depicted here." The creator accepted the challenge, but, alas ... the young man did not appear at the trial. In those years, society with caution took such an art, because for the Russian people it was something new and yet unknown.
From 1912 to 1914, Aristarkh Vasilyevich actively takes a great interest in shapeless still lifes and landscapes of Moscow.
In 1915 he created his self-portrait "The Greatartist". The portrait absolutely corresponds to reality, the creator and in life was as good-natured, broad-shouldered, awkward hero. And the colors of the work convey the very sun that emanated from him from the inside.
The revolution of 1917 also affected the paintings of the painter. Based on the emotions caused by the February events, he writes the picture "The World. Celebration. Liberation. "
