What is an impersonal offer?

Often we say, and do not notice the veryprocess, what stable expressions appear in our utterances, what grammatical structures we use, what endings, cases, numbers ... All this sweeps past us, because our native language is like the blood flowing through our veins that fills with oxygen and life every our organ. But after all, we do not pay attention to this, and, in fact, do not know what our blood is, what it consists of, how it moves ...

However, do not forget that the native languageall the same should develop. Everything in this world is in constant movement, formation and improvement. And the development of the nation as a whole depends on studying the language and educating the culture of speech of each individual person. There is one legend from the life of the fabulist Aesop. In the distant past, Aesop worked in the service. Once the owner asked him to make the most delicious and healthy dish. For dinner was served a dish of veal tongue. The owner asked Aesop in amazement why he had chosen this recipe. The servant replied that language is the best thing in the world, because it can help make true friends, find true love, fill every new day with joy .... Having thought a little, the owner gave Aesop a new task - prepare the worst dish in the world. And again the veal tongue was served at dinner. The servant hastened to explain his choice to the puzzled master: "Language can become our enemy, it pushes people to quarrels, gossip, deception ..." As we see, we need not only to monitor what we say, but also learn to express ourselves beautifully and correctly , feelings and emotions.

simple impersonal offer
One of the structures that helps us to more clearly and emotionally describe our inner world and convey the state of the world around us is the grammatical structure of the "impersonal proposal". What is an impersonal proposal, and as they say, with what it is eaten? Rules from the school program are difficult to understand. Usually we learn them by heart, and often do not understand or do not go into their meaning. In order not to memorize a mindlessly complex rule, it is necessary to disassemble and clarify every word in it. In other words, an impersonal sentence is a sentence "without a face", that is, any action or state occurs without the performer of this action or without the very expresser of this state. Here are the simplest examples: "It's getting dark." It was bright. It's Cloudy ». As a rule, an impersonal sentence is short, concise, but very expressive. It can be used as part of simple - it's a simple impersonal offer, and as part of complex sentences. Such sentences are often used in fiction. But such turns are inherent in everyday speech. Their use helps to more emotionally describe the pictures of the surrounding world, the state of nature (On the street it was cold, gloomy and dark), the state of mind of a person (How easy and joyful on the soul!), the physical condition of man (Again shivering and dizzy in the head), the inevitability and impossibility of action (To us should all buy; talk with him properly), negation (It's impossible to live far from the city). As the only main member of the sentence-the predicate-there can be an impersonal verb (Light, Morosite), a personal verb in an impersonal form (Behind the window thundered), a particle not with the verb be (Anger already did not have), a brief passive past participle (Resolved go for a walk), and there is no impersonal verb (No peace. There is no joy).

impersonal sentences in English
Impersonal offers are inherent not only in Russian, but also the English language. But since the construction of the English sentence does not allow the use of the sentence members in a free order, unlike the Russian language, then impersonal sentences in the English language can only formally be called impersonal. It is inadmissible in English to omit the predicate or subject. Therefore, there are certain structures, such as It + to be, It + glag., where the pronoun It performs the role of a formal subject and is omitted when translated into Russian (It is getting colder - It gets colder, It is frosty - Frosty, It rains - It's raining).

Thus, an impersonal proposal is notonly a grammatical structure, but also an important assistant in the ability to speak beautifully. And, as you know, the ability to beautifully express your thoughts and feelings is expensive - an open, open door for any possibilities ....
